Winter!

I'm not a lover of Winter. I find that it's too cold and no matter how much I layer up I can't seem to get warm at all. I much prefer Summer when I can wear all my dresses, skirts, and shorts (most of my wardrobe consists of Summer clothes). Two of the things I like most about Winter is the Pantomime (I still don't know why it's called a pantomime) and ice-skating (which I'm not very good at).

I went to the panto yesterday (17th December) and for the 30th anniversary for it they did Jack and the Beanstalk (last year it was Sleeping Beauty and the year before Aladdin). I love watching how they portray the characters from the classic Disney movies (I love all of the classic Disney movies!) and last night was spectacular.

The thing I love about ice-skating is that you can do it as a family and you don't have to be good at it to enjoy the hour (or whatever amount of time you get). Last year I went twice with dad as neither my twin sister or my mam wanted to go. I fell once on my butt, but it was still extremely fun (I only fell once because dad fell while I was holding on to him and I mostly held onto either him or the railing!) as my balance is terrible on the flat ground so naturally on ice it's worse!
